The Story

Prefect for finely slicing large and small vegetables, fruit, herbs, ginger, chilli and garlic. The flutes along the edge of the 18cm blade create an air pockets that help prevent your food sticking to the blade. 
Global Knives are made in Japan and have a super sharp cutting edge. These knives are designed to last a lifetime and with a little care they will. The acute 15 degree cutting edge is hand ground on to Cromova18 Stainless Steel with a Rockwell of C56-58. This means that the edge of the knife is easy to maintain and keep sharp using a whet-stone, steel or the MinoSharp Pull Through sharpener (this nifty sharpener takes all the guess work out of finding the correct angle). Global knives are made in Japan and designed by Komin Yamada. The signature dotty handle helps to grip the handle even when hands are wet. Depending on the size and type of bland, the handle is shaped and balanced to suit the job!

  • Always hand wash knives, dry and put back in to storage. This prevent the blade getting damaged. Do not soak in water or leave damp. Global knives are not dishwasher safe.
  • Always use on a wooden or plastic surface. Cutting on marble, glass, granite or any other hard surface will blunt your knife.
  • Don't use to cut through frozen foods or bones unless the knife is specifically designed for the job, i.e a cleaver.
